When I started boot camp, I did not know what to expect. I decided I would take this so called class know as "boot camp" and go once a week just to squeeze in an extra workout. It was nothing however like what I expected. After the first week, I began going twice a week. I started getting addicted to it. After a while I saw how strong I was getting and I noticed the results. It wasn't easy but I kept pushing. I really felt good about myself. I didn't want to miss a class. I also enjoyed the camaraderie that began to develop at these sessions. I was proud of the other divas for progressing as well. When I see them pushing themselves it makes me want to push harder. I remember once going to run along with another diva after I had completed my run. She was not done and was running alone. I remember wanting to do it beside her because she inspired me. It's not about how fast you are but about not quitting! It's about Discipline Dedication and Determination. Boot Camp is now a part of my life.

When I received the email about registering for bootcamp, I breathed a sigh of relief. I had been looking for something to rejuvenate my workout routine and help me to finally reach my fitness goals. After four weeks of bootcamp, my fitness level has improved greatly. Dre’s energy, determination, and genuine passion for getting us fit motivates me to push myself beyond what I ever believed I could do and not give up. I find myself relying on my experiences in bootcamp in my daily life as I pursue my personal and professional goals. Bootcamp is more than just the working out. It has become a real outlet for stress, an opportunity to meet new friends and work together towards our individual and collective goals, and most importantly, a resource for me spend some time taking care of me.

My first class confirmed for me that this is the place that I need to be working out. I have worked out at Bally's for over 10 years. I cancelled my membership over a year ago because my Spirit needed something more. My co-worker recommended me to your Boot Camp. After having my baby 4 months ago, I started working out at home 2 months ago but recently fell off. After this one session. It is now mandatory for me to be in your class at least 2 days a week for now with my schedule. Dre, thanks so much for pushing me and being patient with me on my first Bootcamp. I would like to say that during the first 30 minutes of class my mind was made up to quit, but with Dre’s motivation and the other Diva's inspiration and encouragement I couldn't and wouldn't give up. I will admit that Dre’s class is hard, but the support that she give makes me believe I can do it. Dre is a great motivator!!!! After a couple of classes, I decided to dust off the old health club membership card and give it a try; compared to your class it was very unfulfilling and boring.

In a nutshell ... "this was the workout I have been looking for". I have always turned my nose up to "group fitness” with the exception of spin-class, but needed something to get my post-baby body back into shape, without having to spend hours in the gym. This class has been nothing short of AMAZING!!! Ms. Dre (I know it is Mrs) is a top-flight fitness guru, who knows how to challenge you whatever your "individual" fitness level. I have been amazed by the results and look forward to reaching my goals. Sixteen years ago I joined Bally's Sports Club to ensure a lifetime commitment to fitness. During this sixteen year journey there have been some ups and some downs. I have run some marathons including the big 26.2. Setting fitness goals for myself is something that has become a part of my life. I have learned how to push my body and have had to learn when to back it up before sustaining serious injury. The beginning of this year was probably my most difficult in terms of motivation. Bally's was just not enough. At this phase in my life I needed more, and more is what I got. Dre approached me about coming to Boot Camp, but what she did not know is that I was looking for something new. I came to class the following Monday and have not looked back. About three weeks in I canceled my sixteen year relationship with Bally's. I have had personal trainers, work out classes that were the bomb, and marathoning "ain't no joke" and neither is Dre. Dre believes in what she does and she REALLY believes in you.

My name is Rosalind and I am 47 yrs old. About 2 years ago my knees began to hurt so badly I was using a cane for awhile. I could barely climb the stairs in the three level townhouse I had just purchased. I made up my mind that this was not going to be me. Plus, I kept telling myself I was just too cute to be depending on a cane! And I certainly wasn't moving anytime soon! After a round of Physical Therapy and working out with my personal trainer my knees seemed to improve. I knew that I needed to lose weight and continue to strengthen my body. I started with BootCamp Divas when it began in May. I knew I needed to bump up my cardio. I didn't quite know what I was getting myself into but I knew it was going to be hard. I figured since I worked out somewhat regularly and met with a personal trainer on the weekends I would be okay. Well, it proved to be more than I thought! But I kept coming. In my time slot, I am the oldest and the heaviest. I wear knee braces, elbow braces (I also suffer from tennis elbow), and ankle braces. Practically all my joints are strapped down! I laugh to myself about that but I was determined to do the best I could do and to keep trying. I’d be lying if I said it was easy. A few times I had to talk myself out of crying. But this is what I have learned. The body is an amazing gift that God has given us. Very few of us reach its potential. Since May, my slacks don't fit. I can tell my legs are stronger. People notice that my body is changing even if I don't fully acknowledge to myself. And, the other women I train with are phenomenal. They have all changed as well. And I can not tell you how invaluable it is to have a group of other women cheer you on and encourage you through a tough exercise. Or to come and run with you or complete a set of exercises with you that you are struggling through. Exercise is 1% body and 99% mind and spirit. Dre's Diesel Dome is more than just a workout session for me. I love working out, I have actually always enjoyed exercising. But, the Diesel Dome experience reminds me of the team camaraderie of my high school days of running track and playing basketball. The camaraderie of all the divas, the supporting and nurturing culture, that Dre's Diesel Dome has established is what really makes this experience so much different than any gym that I have belonged to in the past. This culture makes me look forward to boot camp every week. For those who know me, they know that I love to shop and workout. Honestly it used to be shopping a little bit more than working out over the last couple of years. But, every since I started working out with Dre's Diesel Dome I can honestly say that the weighting has swayed to the workout side more. I will give you an example of this. We had a business meeting in Oak Brook,and one of my girlfriends that I work with asked if I wanted to go shopping after the meeting and my response was, " I can't go shopping I have to get to Boot Camp". That was the first time that I knew that I really had a "made up mind" and the weighting had definitely changed. Exercising is a way for me to relieve stress. Working out with the "Boot Camp Divas" allows me to relieve stress,and also have my fellow "Divas" push me harder than I would have pushed myself. Dre our "Diesel Dome Drill Diva" is a great inspiration, she knows just how much we need to be challenged and she pushes each of us to our individual limits. I believe that Dre's Diesel Dome is not only a place you go to workout for an hour. It is a culture that we have all adopted. I started with the 6AM bootcamp about two months ago and I can already feel a difference. My energy level has gone up and I am being strengthened in areas where I was weak. I play a lot of tennis, but never did too much weight training to supplement my court time. I never imagined that squats and lunges would teach me to use my legs on my shots which results in more power on the strokes! The boot camp has also disciplined me: watching what I eat, getting enough sleep and being productive while awake, and even working out on that days that we don't meet. The best part about bootcamp is that everyone there wants to be there. Everyone pushes and works hard which helps me to work harder. I would recommend the bootcamp to anyone who wants to see a complete mental and physical turn-around.

The Diva Boot Camp is GREAT! Dre works the divas out hard, but she also motivates us and makes us feel like a team. You can also count on the other divas to get you through the tough spots because they are always there to cheer you on and high-five your accomplishments. Dre makes getting fit a team effort and none of us ever want to let the team down. I know that I'm working harder in boot camp than I would if I was working out on my own, and I feel great! I have been coming to Boot camp now for 8 weeks and in that short amount of time I have seen the quickest results that I have ever witnessed in my fitness history. I used to work out with a trainer who came highly recommended and even he did not get me these results as fast. In eight weeks I have witnessed an increase in muscle definition, cardio endurance, and overall strength. I would encourage all diva's with a made up mind to join. This is by far the best exercise group I have ever been a part of!

I had a gym membership and I was going to the same classes 2-3 times a week. To be honest, I just got bored. It was the same thing every time I went and I was just looking for more variety. When I found out about D3 I was ecstatic—a change in workout, a chance to meet other girls with goals like mine—I could not wait! I have been a D3 Diva for a few months now. I look forward to each and every class because I KNOW I am going to get a good workout. On those days I have to work late or just cannot make it to class, I am not pleased.
